HeriTACE is Horizon Europe, EU-funded project that will deliver holistic solutions for authorities and architects to envision and govern a sustainable energy future for heritage townhouses in historical neighbourhoods, thus putting the EU Green Deal and New European Bauhaus into practice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Different obstacles that impede the future-proofing and replication of heritage buildings have been identified based on previous research and field knowledge funded by numerous national and EU programmes. Due to this congestion, historic buildings throughout the EU countries lose a significant amount of energy. To avoid this, a substantial increase in deep renovations of heritage buildings can lead to effective energy demand reductions and readiness to transition to renewable and Residual Energy Source (R\u00b2ES). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main objective of the HeriTACE project is to produce innovative technical solutions integrated into a holistic and multi-scale renovation approach. During the project duration, the consortium will involve a transdisciplinary team of research institutes, authorities, SMEs, and industry experts experienced in design, technology, and policymaking in the domains of conservation, buildings, and energy, which will further increase the availability of high-quality solutions for the building conservation sector and open new business opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a project participant, ACE will take the lead in communication and dissemination activities. The role of ACE will be to collaborate with related projects, networks, and initiatives and to maximise dissemination and communication activities to achieve effective promotion of both the project and its progress and results, as well as reach the identified project target groups. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
