Arbetsgruppens mål
- Promote the creative synthesis of technologies, construction processes and supply chain solutions required to achieve sustainable transition.
- Communicate the architect’s view on forthcoming policy and legislation and informing the profession of related opportunities and best practices.
Huvudsakligt intresseområde
- High quality architecture that demonstrates outstanding whole life carbon performance over its life span – as per Davos Baukultur Quality System and the EU Level(s) criteria.
- The collection and disclosure of data relating to building performance to inform building and stock-level benchmarks
- Greater access to materials and construction techniques that minimise embodied carbon and demonstrate the circular use of resources.
- The scaling up of low-emission retrofits, including sustainable finance and insurance mechanisms.
- Embed Davos Baukultur Quality System and EU Level(s) criteria in the recognition of excellence as well as in continuous architectural education.
- Communicate success through case studies at building and policy level.
- Adapt the architects’ scope of works to include building performance evaluations across all work stages.
- Highlight barriers and instigate research and innovation to overcome these
- Extend the reach of our campaigns to the Council of the EU.
